On Friday, July 30th,
Moila Shrine will conduct it's 8th annual
Moila FUNdraiser
day. |
|
To date, this event has raised over $215,000
which was used to replace the patios, patio lights and |
|
landscaping, new awnings, patio tables & chairs, and our
New Snack Shop!. |
| |
|
This event has three purposes. Raise money for continued improvements at
Moila, provide a fun-filled day for our |
|
members and guests, and showcase our beautiful facility to our guests to
enhance membership recruitment. |
| |
|
To help support and encourage participation, we are again requesting
gifts for the auction and raffles. No gift is |
|
too big or small, and you don't have to be a
business to participate.
Past donations have included restaurant & |
|
retail store gift certificates, golf bags, balls, & clubs, coolers,
shirts & jackets, umbrellas, bottled wine, radios, |
|
DVD's, dishware, hand tools, golf shop gift certificates, appliances,
videos, barbeque grills & smokers, |
|
collectables, Chiefs & Royal game tickets, autographed baseballs,
footballs & pennants, lawn chairs, pictures, hats, |
|
watches & jewelry, lotto tickets, fishing, hunting & vacation trips, and
many cash donations of various amounts. |

Last year we enjoyed over 100 different donors, many of whom were
individuals. If your budget doesn't allow for |
|
a small donation, please ask the businesses where you eat, shop or work
for a small donation to support this event. |

Tee/hole sponsorship advertising is available for only $100 per sign. |
| |
|
Aside from soliciting gifts, we would be happy to have you and/or your
guests participate in the golf tournament. It |
|
is a 4-person scramble,
and the entry fee is only $80 per player. The entry fee includes green
fee, cart rental, |
|
prizes, lunch and dinner.
We will have 2 shotgun starts (8:00 am & 1:00 pm). This tournament sells
out, so please |
|

For those Shriners and guests who can't play in the golf tournament
portion of this event, the evening dinner will |
|
be available for a modest fee, and will be followed by the auction and
dance. Again this year, the dinner/auction/ |
|
dance will be held in the cool comfort of our ballroom.

At the request of our advertisers and donors, we have added two packages
for your convenience. |
